After being wowed at the chasm, we made a quick stop at the Hikulagi Sculpture Park, put together by numerous volunteers. At first sight, it looked like a pile of trash, but upon further investigation, it's clear a good amount of thought and effort has been put into it. The pieces carry an environmental message, as it's made of collected trash (so it IS a pile of trash!), some of which have been washed ashore from other nations across the ocean. This is the largest piece in the park, and it was fascinating examining all of the various dissonant objects that are organized to compose the piece.
