Found one of those ubiquitous Samoan chocolate pancakes to try! Apparently in Samoa, they are called Chinese pancakes. I can see the resemblance to Chinese desserts. Maybe this was introduced to Samoa by Chinese immigrants. Delicious, like a moist but crumbly cocoa cookie.
