Although very pretty, their fales were less traditional and the plastic sheet blinds were noisy in the wind. I can't complain though, since everything was rebuilt after 2009. Some of the plastic sheets were printed with Government aid logos, undoubtedly from the support Samoa received for the tsunami. It was a bit weird seeing them, and reminded me of refugee camps.
